FNWLL Scholarship Program
Fraternal Northwest Little League firmly believes that each child who wishes to play baseball should be entitled to do so regardless of skill, gender, or financial circumstances. Our league will not deny any child a chance to play baseball due to a financial hardship. Two levels of support are available:
1. Full scholarships that cover registration fee and waiver of volunteer buyout fee (if applicable).
2. Partial scholarships that cover one half of the registration fee and waiver of volunteer buyout (if applicable).
Our little league is a nonprofit organization and 100% volunteer-run. A limited number of full and partial scholarships that cover registration fees only are available based on the league’s annual budget, community sponsorship, and the overall number of registrations. With this in mind, we ask that you only request a scholarship if paying the full registration fee would cause a genuine financial hardship for your family. Application for scholarship does not guarantee an award of assistance.
The application process will be strictly confidential. Only the president will have access to all of the original information that is submitted. The president will take each application and assign the submission a number and present all applications to the FNWLL Scholarship Committee without personally identifying information included. This respects your privacy while allowing the FNWLL Scholarship Committee to evaluate each application on its merits.
